This site started as the brainchild of the beautiful Wendy (pictured above), a local resident of Suffolk Park, Byron Bay, which is just a few metres from beautiful Tallows Beach.

Wendy spent a good part of her life being curious about our life-giving water.  This curiosity encouraged her journeys and she visited many beautiful, glorious waterways across Australia.

For may years she was busy working along her travels, and her focus on the importance of clean healthy water was in there, but in the background. Wendy began to realise how grateful she was for those refreshing experiences. Wendy also began to notice that fresh water is becoming more scarce and is so often polluted by humans - either by rubbish or chemicals. Carelessness and greed can cause us to overlook the simple important things.

So Wendy began to  dedicate  some of her time to promoting a message about the importance of HEALTHY WATER EVERYWHERE. Wendy felt that kids were the best place to start - to encourage them to be the new generation of caring, aware people that will protect our planet from the harm caused by greed and unthinkingness.

Now Wendy is busy looking after her own new child, but Watersong lives on. Others have taken up her beautiful and important message and the watersong website is growing, spreading the message that we must love our planet and take care of our precious water and in this way help ensure all the special creatures who depend on good clean water will survive.
